Scion Staffing recognizes that our office, located in the Chicago Metro area resides on the traditional village sites of the Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi, Miami, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Sac, Fox, Kickapoo, and Illinois Nations as well as many other tribes who have made their homes next to the body of water known as Lake Michigan and in the state of Illinois. Chicago currently has the third-largest urban population of Native Americans in the country with more than 65,000 Native Americans living in the greater Chicago metro area and representing over 175 different tribes.

Indigenous people of these tribes have tended the land, created tribal communities, and called this area their home since well before the arrival of Europeans to the region.
